| Hello! I'm Diane Lyles and I'm excited to say this is my third year at Glen Oaks Park Elementary! I began in the parish several years ago as a speech therapist; however, this is my seventh year as a classroom teacher. I am presently teaching third grade, but have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades. I am originally from Shreverport, LA and graduated from Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA. I have been here in Baton Rouge and married to my husband for 32 years. We have raised four (wonderful!) children of our own along with an assortment of dogs, cats, hamsters, nephews, cousins, and other critters. Children are amazing people and it is a privilege to work with them. Be sure to spend lots of time with yours because they really do grow up all too fast! |
